Meet Ana & Kirsten

Welcome to Nail Care Headquarters and Bliss Kiss™, where we believe in empowering you with truthful, science-based information about nail care and anatomy. We are Ana Seidel and Kirsten Nelson, best friends with a passion for solving problems and a shared mission to combat misinformation in the nail care industry.

Our Journey

We met in 2008 and have been best friends ever since. When Ana and Cory started Bliss Kiss™ in 2012, Kirsten was excited to support them in helping customers find and enjoy the benefits of Simply Pure™ nail oil. Over the years, Ana wrote 90+ nail care articles on NailCareHeadquarters.com in response to nail care questions customers sent in.  Over lunch one day, Ana and Kirsten were brainstorming ways to help people get great results, fast.  The result? The Get Naked Challenge! The concept is simple: remove your nail polish for three days and apply Simply Pure™ nail oil religiously. Take before and after photos and see the transformation in your nails and skin.

Fast forward 10+ years later.

Through our work with thousands of people with nail problems and concerns, we began to see patterns. Just like hair has different types—curly, straight, fine, textured, etc.—that need specific care routines, we realized that fingernails also have distinct types requiring tailored care. This insight was what inspired us to create the Nail Type Quiz as a guided tool to empower people like YOU to understand your nails and the type of care they need to help you achieve your nail goals.
